Frequently Asked Questions

  • The Spark Sessions

Seven weeks. Any camera. A completely different way of seeing the world.

This is not a class about settings or technique. It is an experience built around one simple idea. When you learn to really look at the world around you, something shifts. In how you see. In how you feel. In how you move through ordinary life.

Each week we explore one element of visual storytelling together- Observation, light, color, structure, movement, and your own creative voice.

Through guided activities, real conversations, and creative assignments, students are guided through their own lives with fresh eyes.

Every session follows the same gentle rhythm so students always feel safe and ready to explore.

    Open. Explore. Discuss. Assign. Close.

    Students learn to:

    • See beauty and meaning in everyday life

    • Develop visual curiosity and emotional awareness

    • Explore photography as a form of expression and connection

    • Notice how light, color, patterns, and movement shape the way we feel

    • Build confidence in their own artistic perspective

This course is not focused on camera settings or professional technique. Instead, it invites students into a more thoughtful and creative relationship with the world around them.

The program ends with The Spark Showcase.

A virtual celebration where every student shares six images from their journey and answers one final question together. What do you notice now that you did not notice before? Parents and friends welcome

Any camera works. Phone, DSLR, or anything in between. No experience needed. Just an open eye and a willingness to notice things.
